Matthew is a researcher working on AI safety and a field builder for AI Safety in Japan. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from UC Berkeley and four years of professional software engineering experience as an SRE and TSE at Google. In addition to his role as a researcher at Shiba AI, Matthew is a member of AI Safety Tokyo.
