I am a Machine Learning Engineer Tech Lead at eBay, where I work on multimodal models for item visual search and ranking. As we deploy conversational MLLMs to millions of users, safety guardrails and alignment have become my primary interest of focus. Therefore alongside my industry work in applied multimodal AI, I am also pursuing independent research in AI alignment and safety, especially in mechanistic interpretability, control protocols, activation steering, and long-horizon risk detection.
